Does your child need individualized training? Our trainer will provide 1-on-1 sessions to help your child learn the basics or improve their current skill set.

Fundamentals

 The first fundamental to instill in young players is that basketball is a team game. If there’s one lesson you want to leave with them, it is this — no team is going to win unless each player contributes. Everybody has to learn how to dribble, pass, defend, rebound, and hustle if the team is to play well and succeed. We make it clear that unless everybody does their part, the team has very little chance of winning consistently.

We recommend starting with a good warm-up, then spending 20-60 minutes on skills (which includes dribbling, passing, footwork, finishing, and shooting), then you split up the rest of the practice based on your team's identity and what you feel is essential. That includes team defense, offense, rebounding, and special situations.

Learn fundamental movement skills and build overall motor skills. Participation once or twice per week in basketball but daily involvement in other sport activity is essential for further excellence, Group skill competition is recommended throughout the level introduction to team principles/concepts only, avoid actual 5x5 competition until fundamentals are further developed.

We are more than just a "Basketball" organization we are training boys to men. Honesty, Integrity, respect all humility to live a moral life, generous with time, money, forgiving and meekness. 

Our Trainer

Warriors For God Partners with Farmer Hoops to provide skills training to our at-risk youth. 


Brandon, the owner, provides basketball training to our youth. His skills and knowledge are vast as a former basketball player and current coach. Through training and coaching, Brandon provides mentorship by teaching and displaying skills development, discipline, patience, accountability, and respect for themself and others. His guidance allows kids to walk away with confidence.
