About us

 WFG is a nonprofit organization committed to inspiring our youth. WFG is committed to nurturing and mentoring our boys and girls. Building and fostering rapport as a team while helping them to develop integral life skills such as integrity, responsibility, and accountability while instilling character on and off the court. 

WFG  also sets out to benefit our youth through the sport of basketball. Our AAU season begins in May of each year. Our team will travel and compete throughout the State of Florida. When the opportunity presents itself, the team will play nationally to expand the level of exposure they receive from higher education institutions and, ideally, an opportunity to explore the possibility of athletic scholarships. 

In addition to providing the highest quality of coaching and fundamental skill development, our ambition is to keep the youth of today in the classroom and steered away from negative influences. We value education on and off the court service and appreciation for our community, and our team philosophy embodies these elements of emphasis!

Teamwork & Sportsmanship are a big part of the game. Our WFG coaches will teach our boys and girls how to communicate effectively with adults, one another, and other youth. We will teach them team etiquette, from simple handshakes to eye contact, and most importantly, working together!

WFG coaches will be impactful and inspire our youth in more ways than one and we’re dedicated to leading by example and grooming them for the next level of their future!
